Established in 1994,Reading Literacy Learning is a 501 C 3 non-profit organization designed to promote literacy among all children in the county of San Diego. Our mission is to plant the seed of literacy in children by providing them with books in hopes that they start their own personal libraries. We hold several "book parties" throughout the year at various locations: low income housing complexes, emergency shelters, Boys' and Girls' Clubs and neighborhood parks -- basically anywhere children are present. We also host a large "book party" every year. At that event, we provide cultural entertainment, snacks and free books for all children in attendance. All of our events are provided at no cost to attendees.

To date, we have distributed hundreds of thousands of brand new books to students in San Diego county!
